According to Article 7, Section 3 of the guidelines on handling attendance and examination misconduct, a student who uses AI-generated content like ChatGPT without the instructor's permission during an exam may be considered as engaging in cheating.

Article 7 (Examination Misconduct): Examination misconduct refers to the following acts committed by a student in order to be assessed through dishonest means concerning their academic achievement: ① Having someone else take the exam on their behalf. ② Sharing answers or receiving assistance from others. ③ Searching the internet or using electronic media prohibited by the instructor, or referring to inappropriate materials during the exam. ④ Disobeying the proctor's instructions during the exam, leaking exam questions without permission, or engaging in other prohibited activities as defined by the instructor. ⑤ Manipulating one's own academic achievement through other dishonest means. |
