[Google adds a “personalized music generation” feature to Gemini]

  Google said on Feb. 18 (local time) that it has added a personalized music creation feature to its AI assistant app, Gemini.

  In the desktop version of the Gemini app, the audio generation feature is now available in beta. Users can create a 30-second piece of music by entering text, images, or video. Cover art is also generated using Google’s AI image generator, Nano Banana, and lyrics can be automatically created if requested.

  The new function is powered by Google DeepMind’s latest generative music model, Lyria 3. It supports English, German, Spanish, French, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, and Portuguese.
