After three years of exhausting research for the development of native plants as cosmetic materials, Kolmar Korea discovered that “Nymphoides indica” and “Penthorum chinense” have excellent effects on anti-aging, reduction of inflammation and skin whitening. And it said the results were published in the internationally recognized journals(SCI) such as ‘Molecules’ and ‘Oxidative Medicine and Cellular Longevity’, on April 22.
Cho Jae-youl, a professor of Department of Integrative Biotechnology at Sungkyunkwan University who conducted the study with Kolmar Korea, announced that “Penthorum chinense has some effects for improving wrinkles, anti-inflammatory, anti-aging and skin whitening” in “2019 International Seminar on the Trends of new technologies and materials in the cosmetics” at the KINTEX's 5th Hall on April 17.
“We focused our research on materials that had been minimal for industrial use.” and “We are planning to develop a variety of cosmetic materials based on a number of native plants that have not yet been effective.” said the representative of Kolmar Korea.
