The 2024 Humanities and Social Sciences Campus "Daedongje" was held for two days from May 29 (Wednesday) to 30 (Thursday). The 24th Business School Student Council "WANNA:BE" also held a night bar "WANNA: BE shareholders' meeting (酒主)" at the Humanities and Social Sciences Campus Grand Stadium on May 29 (Wednesday) from 18:00 to 23:00 on the first day of the Daedongje.
As the name of the pub reveals, the event, which has the concept of harmony between honeybees and the general shareholders' meeting, was intended to represent students who are the center and flower of the business school in honeybees and the student council, which cannot exist without the flowers. The members of the student council installed various items that could reveal these honeybees and operated the general shareholders' meeting, which is a meeting place for classmates with alcohol. The general shareholders' meeting used both the "drinker" and the "owner's share" used in the original general shareholders' meeting, and at the same time, considering the characteristics of the pub as a classmate of the business school and the student council of the business school, trying to make a pleasant and fruitful school life of the classmates in various ways and communicating with them as one. WANNA:BE's concept of honeybees was to emphasize the clear identity of the student council through honeybees that can give a cute image while using yellow, the main theme color of this student council, and at the same time to create a student council where classmates can come closer with a cute image.
The night bar "WANNA: BEE Shareholders' Meeting" has established a system that allows students to enjoy the bar without waiting by uploading a reservation post on the business school student council WANNA:BE Instagram and receiving a reservation in advance through Google Form. For admission fees, chicken nuggets, tofu kimchi, sausage, fish cake soup, kimchi pancake, and potato pancakes were provided indefinitely. Before the start of the bar at night, Lee Seok-kyu, dean of the business school, visited and encouraged him, and about 130 classmates visited during the bar's operation hours.
Lee Eun-hee (Business 22), vice chairman of the business school student association WANNA:BE, shared his feelings, saying, "From the name of the bar to setting admission fees and coordinating the number of working-level personnel, the bar was completely untouched by the student council WANNA:BE from the beginning to the end of this event. Through the Daedongje bar, I was able to meet and communicate with my colleagues at the business school, and I was able to hear their stories more closely. It was a valuable experience to promote a sense of belonging not only within the student council but also to the business school as a whole."
