Special lectures by KB Financial Group Chairman Yoon Jong-kyu were held at the management hall on May 20 (Mon) and May 29 (Wednesday). On May 20 (Mon), 50 undergraduate students took Marketing Management classes, and on May 29 (Wed), 50 EMBA students took Marketing Management Theory, followed by more than two hours of heated lectures and question-and-answer sessions.

After graduating from Sungkyunkwan University with a bachelor's degree in business administration, Yoon earned a master's degree in business administration from Seoul National University's Graduate School of Business and a doctorate in business administration from Sungkyunkwan University. In April this year, he was appointed as a special professor at Sungkyunkwan University's business school, his alma mater.

Starting with joining the Korea Exchange Bank, he has served as the vice-chairman of Samil Accounting Corporation, the head of Kookmin Bank's financial strategy division, the vice-president, and the head of the personal financial group. He also served as the president of KB Kookmin Bank after serving as a standing advisor to the law firm of Kim & Chang, and has been the chairman of KB Financial Group since 2014.

In a special lecture for undergraduate students, Yoon Jong-kyu, a special professor, explained the changes in the financial environment, technology in the digital financial era, and the subdivision of customer types in an easy-to-understand manner under the theme of "Future of Finance, Finding Answers in Digital." In addition, he shared realistic and specific experiences for students preparing for employment in the financial sector, and he gave advice and encouragement from various angles.

A special lecture for EMBA students at the Graduate School of Business was held under the theme of 'ESG Management, a Great Transformation of Management Strategies that Turn Crisis into Opportunity'. One of the main topics of corporate management at home and abroad is sustainable management and ESG management. It is a selection of topics that reflect these latest trends and rapidly changing demands of the times. It is expected that the special lecture, which was conducted in the table of contents of the rise of ESG management in various crises, trends and strategies of global ESG, corporate ESG management strategies, and ESG management examples of domestic companies, was useful in preparing for a career as a wise business leader who will lead the future through sustainable growth in a rapidly changing business environment of a new paradigm.

Chairman Yoon Jong-kyu has continued his interest and affection in the development of the business school by continuing to donate and give special lectures even after graduating from Sungkyunkwan University.
