1. Hello! It is so nice to meet you. First, please briefly introduce yourself and the current student council!

Hello! My name is Ji Su-bin. I entered the Department of Business Administration in 2023 (Class 3) and will be serving as the President of the Business School Student Council for the 2026 academic year. The 26th Business School Student Council, "Be:hind," was launched with the slogan, "A shining story that stands right behind you."

Currently, our student council operates with 25 fellow students organized into six distinct bureaus: the Culture & Planning Bureau, Finance & Administration Bureau, External Relations Bureau, Academic Policy Bureau, Human Resources & Operations Bureau, and Public Relations & Communications Bureau. True to our name, "Be:hind," we aim to stand behind our fellow business school students, remaining a reliable presence even in unseen moments, and working hard so that every student can paint a bright future.

2. What motivated you to run for Student Council President?

After my admission, I served as the representative for Class 3 of the Business Administration Department, which gave me many opportunities to communicate closely with the student council. Through that process, I found it incredibly rewarding to help make my peers' campus life more enjoyable and to create events together.

Since then, I served as an executive member of the baseball club 'Bizball' and as the Director of the Culture & Planning Bureau for the 25th Business School Student Council, 'Bihaengwoon.' The process of directly planning initiatives that provide a more enjoyable and valuable campus experience brought me great joy. Looking back, providing practical support from behind the scenes naturally felt like happiness to me. Based on these experiences, I decided to run for student council president with the desire to offer even more help by organizing a wider variety of projects.

3. Could you introduce the student council's projects and highlight any notable initiatives?

"Be:hind" is preparing a variety of projects centered around five core keywords: Culture, Communication, Career, Welfare, and Education.

We plan to host an Early Admission Orientation, General Orientation, and Freshman Orientation Camp for incoming Business Administration students. Following that, we are preparing cultural events like "Biz Family" and the "Business Cultural Festival" to foster continuous interaction between the Business Administration and Global Business Administration departments. In the second semester, we intend to run a global exchange program called "Be My Guest" to increase interaction opportunities between current business school students and international students.

To address the frustrations of students who might hesitate to voice their opinions directly or feel they cannot fully express their thoughts through existing online and offline channels, we plan to operate a revamped offline communication channel. In addition, we will continuously engage with business school students by managing our Instagram and KakaoTalk channels and providing quarterly project reports.

We plan to run a "Career Archive" to easily provide information on all certifications, employment opportunities, and extracurricular activities related to business roles. Furthermore, we are organizing corporate field trip programs so students can have comfortable conversations with active professionals. We are also planning industry-academia collaboration projects to strengthen various competencies through practical, hands-on business problem-solving.

First of all, despite the size of the department, Business Administration lacked a dedicated departmental student council, which caused relative inconveniences regarding benefits and welfare. In response, we aim to establish a Department of Business Administration Student Council to expand welfare services. Besides this, we plan to implement projects such as operating office hours and an emergency pharmacy, organizing group purchases for business school merchandise, and distributing snacks.

Many students in the business administration department wish to pursue a double major. However, it is not easy to obtain information about this, worsening the issue of information asymmetry. To resolve this, we are preparing to introduce a practical mutual exchange program. Additionally, we hope to contribute to developing our fellow students' academic competencies by hosting a Business Academic Festival.

4. What do you consider to be the most important value in leading the student council?

In my opinion, the most important value in a group setting is "an attitude of mutual respect." Recognizing that my words and attitude can have a significant impact on others and maintaining mutual respect is essential to successfully realizing the various projects and events planned by "Be:hind."

"Be:hind" will do its utmost not only to foster respect among our executive council members but also to sincerely respect all students in the business school, making it the shining college we all hope for.
