The inorganic analysis lab, equipped with an inductive coupled plasma-mass spectrometer and atomic absorption spectroscopy, performs quantitative analysis of heavy metals in samples used in the areas of environment and chemistry (down to ppm and ppt levels). The lab performs XRF, a X-ray fluorescence analysis, to detect the element of mineral and metal materials.
