The Comparative Culture Major is a course that aims to expand the student's horizon of thought beyond simple local culture comparison in an era where various cultures intersect and the boundaries between cultures are fading. The course has been developed with a view to responding actively to globalized cultural environment and academic convergence.

We pursue cross-cultural studies with international and academic characteristics beyond the scope of comparing local cultures. The course supports in-depth and systematic understanding of majors and autonomous research by presenting a curriculum that is linked organically to the comparative cultural cooperation courses of the graduate school.

Organized under the overarching theme of culture, the main purpose of the course is to present students with an opportunity to think more broadly and deeply about various topics. Through this, we have been able to nurture independent prospective scholars with international perspectives and academic stability and practitioners in various cultural-related industries.
