The Disciplinary Education established in 2004, supports students to develop connections among theories of teaching and learning, and to enact multiple approaches to various practical skills. The Disciplinary Education offers master’s and doctoral programs in three majors; Chinese Education, Mathematical Education, and Computer Education.
The Disciplinary Education is designed for teachers, researchers in educational fields, civil service, and other educators to cultivate educational experts by blending the speciality of curriculum and education.
Any applicant participating in educational specialism should apply for Disciplinary Education programs. Bachelor’s and Master’s degree holders in special undergraduate, graduate and general graduate programs are eligible to apply for the Disciplinary Education.
Upon graduation, students may work as a full-time professors or educational specialists in local or overseas universities or research institutes. They can become curriculum specialists at various national education institutes or government-funded education specialized research centers, and they may contribute their knowledge to scholastic institutes for educational development.

1. Facilities
The Department of Disciplinary Education has a seminar room in Hoam Building (8th floor, 50813) for students’ academic pursuit.
2. Exchanges and Partnership
Each major in the DCT is in partnership with diverse institutions. We are in active exchanges with public institutions such as; Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation, Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science & Creativity, and Korea Education & Research Information Service. For students who are majoring in computer education, our partnership with Samsung Electronics and Naver, the corporations leading SW education, would be a good opportunity.
