Students who are subject to this requirement are requested to contact a faculty advisor and submit the Research Thesis/Project Application Form within the designated period.

1. Eligible Students

Students highlighted in yellow in the table below are required to submit the application form.

• If you are unsure whether an academic advisor has already been assigned to you, please contact the department office.

2. Procedure

① Complete the attached Research Thesis/Project Application Form.

※ Please note that this form is different from the Advisor Application Form, so make sure you are using the correct form.

② Contact the professor from whom you would like to receive supervision, request supervision for your Research Thesis/Project, and obtain the professor’s signature on the application form.

• Only full-time faculty members of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering can serve as research advisors.
  (Professor Eunseok Lee and Professor Youngik Eom are not available for supervision.)
• You can find professors’ email addresses and research interests on the department website: https://cse.skku.edu/eng_cse/faculty.do
  
• Both handwritten signatures and electronic signatures are accepted.

③ Submit the signed application form to the department office via email.

④ Begin your research under the supervision of your advisor.
(Midterm and final reports will be submitted in the following semester.)
