The following are guidelines for submission and presentation of theses and results reports for preliminary/final examinations for the Graduate School of Software Studies in the second semester of the 2025 academic year.

※ If you have a joint advisor, please list both names on the page where you write the advisor's name on the thesis form.

※ When creating a table of contents and a table of figures by referring to the thesis example file, be sure to include the title of each table and figure.

【Master's Program】

1. Deadline for submission of papers and presentation materials for the main examination

: Wednesday, November 5, 2025 - Wednesday, November 12, 2025

※ Uploading is not possible after November 12th, so please adhere to the deadline.

2. How to submit a paper

1) Access [Online Graduation Thesis Review System] (  https://grad.icc.skku.ac.kr/login )

※ Access is possible after the upload period begins after the thesis review committee's approval is completed.

※ It is optimized for Chrome, so please access it using Chrome.

2) Select [Student] on the login screen.

3) Log in by entering your student number as your ID and your 6-digit date of birth (YYMMDD) as your password.

4) Click on the [Paper Submission] menu

5) Enter the paper title and abstract, and upload both the paper file and PT file (both types).

6) Click [Submit]

※ After the submission period ends, you cannot make any changes, so please review it thoroughly and upload it after your advisor confirms it.

※ Hangul, MS Word, and PPT files may cause errors due to compatibility issues, so please convert them to PDF files and upload them.

3. Submission materials and volume

1) Applicants for the main defense

- Minimum 40 pages for the final examination, approximately 50 pages (written in Korean or Word)

- Summary of the paper for the main examination (written in PPT) : Presentation material (written in approximately 10 to 15 minutes)

※ However, please consult with your advisor regarding adjustments to the number of papers to be submitted for final review.

※ There is no length limit for the thesis summary, but please refer to the Presentation Guidelines when writing it.

※ If you have a joint advisor, please list both names on the page where you write the advisor's name on the thesis form.

※ Please discuss your master's thesis presentation with your advisor and the examination committee and present it between November 20 (Thu) by December 12 (Fri).

4. Submission of ‘Report on Reflection of Modification Instructions’

1) Submission deadline: ~ Friday, December 19, 2025

2) Write a ‘Report on the Results of Reflecting Modification Instructions’ by reflecting the modification instructions on the online review site, obtain the signatures of the reviewers, and submit it to the Software Department Office (Industry-Academic Cooperation Center 85624/Convergence Security Track 21527)

【Doctoral/Master's/Doctoral Integrated Program】

1.How to write and submit

1) Write according to the attached thesis format of our university.

2) No limit on purchase

3) Submit the completed paper for review to the reviewers at least one week prior to the review.

※ However, please consult with your advisor regarding adjustments to the number of papers to be submitted for final review.

※ There is no length limit for the thesis summary, but please refer to the Presentation Guidelines when writing it.

※ If you have a joint advisor, please list both names on the page where you write the advisor's name on the thesis form.

2. Evaluation method

1) Conduct individual evaluations in consultation with the supervising professor and the evaluation committee.

2) Preliminary examination is conducted through one public announcement and examination.

3) The main examination is conducted twice in total, once for public presentation and examination and once for final examination.

※ Please discuss with your advisor and the examination committee regarding your doctoral public presentation and present it within the deadline.

3. Submission of thesis review results report

1) Submission deadline: ~ Monday, December 22, 2025

2) Prepare the results report form by filling in personal information, thesis title, etc. and submit (send) it to the reviewers.

3) After all evaluations including individual presentations are completed, the paper evaluation results report written in the form is submitted to the Software Department Office (Industry-Academic Cooperation Center Room 85624/Convergence Security Track Room 21527) by the chairperson of the evaluation committee or the student being evaluated.

4) List of submissions for paper review results report

① A total of 4 candidates for pre-defense

- 1 copy of preliminary examination result report (written by the examination committee chairperson)

- Preliminary examination report (1 per examiner) 3 pages

② A total of 9 candidates for the main defense

- 1 copy of the doctoral dissertation review results report

- 1 page of the first doctoral dissertation final examination report

- 1 page of the second doctoral dissertation final examination report

- 1 page of doctoral dissertation review summary (written by the chair of the review committee)

- 5 copies of thesis review and oral examination results (1 copy per reviewer, including the review chair)

※ The results of the thesis review and oral examination are written on one page for the first and second reviews.
