Two GBA housings are located in Young-eun Town Building and Crownville Building on Myungryun-1 Ga, both of which are adjacent and a seven minute walk from the International Hall. GBA students receive a scholarship of 1,000,000 won reserved for dormitory residency for two semesters. Students may utilize the scholarship at any time within their attendance at SKKU. If the number of applicants exceeds the number of dormitories available, first priority is given to students applying with scholarship. All rooms are accomodated with private bathroom and kitchen facilities and each room is assigned to two students. The two housings have a capacity of 130 students combined. Applications are open in the month of February and August for first and second semesters respectively.

Young-eun town

Unlike most double room dormitories, each floor of Young-eun Twon Dormitory consists of two quadruple suite.

Each qaudruple has a main front door and consists of four double rooms. Each quadruple is commonly referred to as a 'gul'. Each double room is assigned to two students; thereby, each qaudruple is assigned to eight students.

Students therefore have the opportunity to build close relationships not only with their roommates but also their 'gul'mates. 'Gul'mates tend to become intimate group of friends who remain their friendship beyond college.

Young-eun town consists of five floors. Floors two to four each accomodates two qaudruple 'gul's and the fifth consists of one quadruple 'gul'. Students may submit a request to live with a roommate and suitemates of their choice. Housing will attempt to honor roommate requests based on available space and the amount of roommate requests received.

 

Crownville

Crownville

Crownville Building Dormitory is a regular double room, each consisting of two students. Each floor consists of eight double rooms. Residents of Crownville tend to form close friendship with students within the same floor. All rooms are accomodated with kitchen and full shower booth facilities. Crownville provides opportunities for students to maintain an independent university lifestyle.

The easy commute enables me to not only save time but also save time but also have easy access to school to study or attend activities and events. I can stay at school late into the night for late night studies or social events and not have to worry about arriving home late. Most importantly, I am able to manage my time efficiently and make more use of my time. It truly is an advantage."
