CAMPUS

Pre-school Program

We are very excited for you to start your journey at SKKU Global Business Administration School!

All of our new students are recommended to attend a Freshman Orientation session before enrolling into SKKU GBA. We have built a program that ensures you adapt to university campus life on the right foot. Two sessions are available before the start of the first semester and each lasts for two weeks. The first session is held in the beginning of January and is reserved for those accepted through rolling admissions. The second session is held in February and is open for students accepted through regular admissions and for those who missed the first session.

(*Both sessions follow the same schedule and curriculum.)

The orientation primarily consists of two courses listed below.

  • 1. GEP (Global English Program)

    • GEP is a program that functions as a transitional stage to assist incoming freshmen to familiarize themselves with lectures delivered in English. The program is an application of reading, writing, conversation, and presentation in English.
  • 2. Foundation of GBA Major Courses

    • The Foundation of GBA Major Courses is a glimpse of basic accounting which all freshmen students are required to learn in their first year.

Lectures are followed by several seminars related to university student life, academic, and direction in future career featuring an upperclassman or guest speaker. Students also have the opportunity to explore the lively culture of the city and attend plays and musicals which the city is known for.

  • Cf. 1) Students have the option to dorm in one of the GBA housing buildings during the orientation period.
  • Cf. 2) Participation in the freshman orientation is not mandatory. However, attendance is highly recommended for preparation transitioning into SKKU GBA socially and academically.

The Freshman Orientation of Global Business Administration

"Through the orientation, I was able to meet many friends, upperclassman, and profeccors even before the enrollment. Freshmen Orientation program really helped me adjust into my school life smoothly. I strongly recommend attending the program the program to all incoming frehmen students primarily because it is a leg up in social life during the two-week stay in the dormitory. The friends that I found during Freshmen Orientaition are my closet friends today."

"The orientation was a great experience because it was an opportunity to have a taste of the class environment and course subject before starting my college career. The most memorable event for me was being able to watch musicals and plays in the city and having a glimpse of what atmoshere the city is like. It is a great chance to get acquainted with classmates early on."
