Student Council

GBA student council

GBA Student Council is an independent student organization striving for the better campus life for students within the GBA community. Moreover, we aim to promote the identity of GBA and to facilitate the communication between the GBA students and SKKU. we represent the voice of GBA students and reflect the opinions of students. The Student Council organizes numerous events exclusively for GBA students including Freshman Orientation, School Uniform Day, Teacher's Day Event, Love Mailbox Event, Job GBA, and Night of GBA, etc. Of these, the Night of GBA is most significant event of the year. It is a banquet held at the end of each year as a moment to reminisce at the accomplishments students have made both individually and collectively over the previous two semesters. In addition to various events, we strive to improve students' welfare, such as renting umbrellas, distributing snacks to cheer for the test, and organizing and supporting small groups. The Student Council also influences beyond simple events by directly impacting the life of GBA through GBA magazine publication, GBA room maintenance, and assistance for student associations.

  • GBNN (Global Business News Network)

“The newspaper is a greater treasure to the people than uncounted millions of gold.”

A very powerful treasure indeed, as a potent instrument of publicity.

It’s an authoritative, universal and iconic system of collective publication that sheds light on what it deems most important and relevant to the public.

Yet that torch of publicity may either enlighten the people or cast a shadow over the truth of the public depending on whom it’s held by.

Yes the newspaper is a powerful treasure, but without our active and painstaking filtering of it we may all be left with mere fabrications: Fake news as our only “credible” source of information.

GBNN, Global Business News Network, is a club that focuses on allowing students to not only read newspaper but also analyze and have a thorough discussion on the topic. The students will also have to present the topics that they discussed. Through this process, students will be able to inform themselves on the current situation of the world and become an all-rounded leader.
