On Friday, November 24, 2023, the 2023 Global Business Night, hosted by the 14th Student Council of the Department of Global Business Administration, Al14U, was held at the Sungkyunkwan Convention Wedding Hall.

The event was divided into two parts, providing time for alumni and current students to communicate and network. Professors Oh Jong-Min, the head of the Global Business Administration Department, and professor Chang Young-Bong attended, along with Yeom Dong-Ki, the director of administration for the College of Economics/Business and the Graduate School of China, and all the administrative staff of the Global Business Administration Department.

The first part began with an opening video, followed by a video with a congratulatory message from Lee Seok-Kyu, the dean of the College of Business. Then, Oh Jong-Min, the chair of the Global Business Administration Department, gave a congratulatory speech with a toast.

After that, the student council distributed the department journal to all tables, and Kim Dong-Hyun, the president of the 14th Student Council, reported on their activities over the past year. The ceremony also included the handover from the 14th to the 15th student council.

The first part concluded with participants moving to designated seats for dinner and ice-breaking activities to foster communication between seniors and juniors.

In the second part, the atmosphere was enlivened by a performance from “Steroid”, the band club of the Global Business Administration Department. Following the performance, a Santa quiz show, in line with the "Merry Christmas in Advance" event theme, was held. 

Teams at each table solved around ten quiz questions, with prizes awarded to the top three teams. This interactive activity allowed both current students and alumni to bond and enjoy a fun time together.

The event concluded with a farewell address from the 14th student council. The attendees gave warm applause and support to the student council for their hard work and dedication over the past year.

The 2023 Global Business Night was a joyous occasion attended by approximately 140 people, who enjoyed the event and happily concluded the year.
