2023 Global Business Administration 3rd Business Camp Implementation

The Department of Global Business conducted the 3rd Annual Business Camp in 2023 from the application phase on Monday, September 4, 2023, to the final results presentation and awards ceremony on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. This Business Camp concluded with students presenting the results of their projects, which included planning and executing overseas assignments from self-chosen topics based on given keywords.
Initially, an orientation was held to explain the new program format to the students. Professor Oh Jong-min, the head of the Global Business Department, provided an overview of the keywords and fields of study. Within this program, students were encouraged to freely choose their topics within the realms of strategic and marketing aspects related to intangible assets of companies, such as corporate reputation, brand value, and corporate culture.
Afterwards, the administration office outlined the subsequent schedule and selection procedures for the Business Camp. Students submitted their preferred countries for assignment and project proposals, resulting in the selection of seven teams.
The selected students attended a final orientation, where they were briefed on key details including guidelines for their overseas assignments, submission of final reports, and presentation schedules. They carried out their assignments from the end of the second semester until early February

The final results presentation and awards ceremony took place on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at 2:00 PM in Room 90110 of the International Building. Attendees included professors Oh Jong-min, Bae Jun-hyung and Lee Hye-jin, and participating students.
During the presentations, students showcased their activities and experiences abroad, aligned with their chosen topics,
Professors Oh Jong-min, Bae Jun-hyung, and Lee Hye-jin not only evaluated the presentations but also provided feedback and suggestions for improvement.
At the end of all presentations, the teams "Yoonkijwaljwal Woosamgyeop," "MY2G," and "High Seiken" were awarded the Grand Prize, First Prize, and Excellence Prize, respectively, marking the conclusion of the 3rd Annual Business Camp 2023.
Professor Oh Jong-min, the chair of the Global Business Department, remarked, “Despite the challenges of planning and executing overseas assignments and projects, the students managed their tasks well and I am proud of their achievements. We will continue to review the positive feedback from students who were satisfied with this program and strive to keep offering similar programs in the future.”
The Department of Global Business aims to enhance students' self-directed learning and provide diverse experiences through the business camp and we plan to continue offering similar global programs for students in the future.
