The Department of Energy Science was originally designed for the graduate school, however, it has provided undergraduate courses (in the name of ‘Major of Energy Science’) since the Fall semester of 2013. This is due to the importance of energy science and the enhanced necessity of interdisciplinary education and research.
We Foster Students as :
- Energy Specialists: To understand energy and nano-science both theoretically and practically
- Energy Creative Leader: To train as an energy expert who has an excellent knowledge of energy policy, coupled with global mind set
- Excellent Researcher: To nurture researchers who can solve energy crises and create a new conception of energy
Benefits of Studying Energy Science (Interdisciplinary) :
- All English speaking lectures given by professors who are experts in the fields of energy science.
- Scholarship: scholarships and opportunities to experience of conducting a research at Energy Science labs are given to those who have outstanding academic records, and those who have been exemplary to others.
- A multidisciplinary graduate school focussing on energy science and technology, selected as a part of BK21 PLUS program by Ministry of science, ICT and Future Planning, Korea.
