Interdisciplinary linguistics is a new field of study, as new needs and professions emerge. It integrates various fields across boundaries, such as computer science, neuroscience and social sciences, but with all around linguistics. Courses range from traditional fields in general linguistics to those with interdisciplinary approaches, like computational linguistics or neurolinguistics.
Vision and missions
· With the recent rise of interest in artificial intelligence home and abroad, language processing as its core technology is in increasing demand.
· Our graduates in interdisciplinary linguistics will advance to graduate schools in the relevant fields, or work for government- or corporate-funded institutes and technology-intensive start-ups. With excellent proficiency in foreign languages and knowledge in interdisciplinary linguistics, they will have opportunities to work abroad.

1) To cultivate creative faculty in students through linguistics-centered education bringing together different disciplines such as computer science, neuroscience, management, and journalism.

Though not clearly demarcated, there are two paths in the program. Students may choose to study further to proceed to a graduate school of linguistics. Alternatively, they may seek job opportunities in corporates that require linguistics-related knowledge and practices
