Megan is supposed to sign up for classes next Monday, so she wants to check class information before deciding what classes she would like to take. She makes a phone call to Mr. Park.
Mr. Park: |
Mr. Park speaking, how can I help you? |
Megan: |
Hello, This is Megan. How are you doing? Where can I obtain a list of major and elective classes for the classes offered in English at the University? |
Mr. Park: |
You can get a list of major-restricted classes, and electives on the web page under eng.skku.edu/campus. It provides very detailed explanations which will definitely assist you in your search. The descriptions are uploaded in English, and they are provided before course enrollment starts. |
Megan: |
Are many of the classes taught in English led by Korean professors? |
Mr. Park: |
Yes. In 2009, for example, about 15% of all classes were taught in English, and many were run by Korean professors. The goal for 2010 is to have 30% of all classes taught in English. |
Megan: |
That would be great for international students like me. |
Mr. Park: |
You made an important point! You can also find specific information on the website for each department or college. |
Megan: |
Where can I obtain information about grade levels; for example, what percentage a B grade is equal to? |
Mr. Park: |
You can find the information under “Grading System” on the eng.skku.edu/campus site. |
