I earned my bachelor's degree in creative writing and literature. I received a master's degree from SKKU. In my master's thesis, I critically examined a version of epistemic foundationalism and have continued to research various epistemological subjects with great interest. I also have a serious interest in the philosophy of language and meta-ethics. In my free time, I usually read my favorite authors' works or watch interesting movies and series on OTT.

I received my B.A. and M.A. in Philosophy from Sungkyunkwan University. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the Department of Philosophy at Sungkyunkwan University. My main interests are epistemology and the philosophy of language. My master's thesis was on epistemic contextualism and I have studied related topics. I love coffee and listening to music, and anyone who likes band music can be friends with me.

I received my bachelor's degree in philosophy and psychology from Sungkyunkwan University. I also completed my master's degree and am pursuing my Ph.D. degree in philosophy here. Currently, I am a visiting scholar at Virginia Tech. My main research interests are phenomenology and philosophy of technology. I am researching the ethical and political factors of the integration of A.I. technology into human society. I am studying to provide a humanities perspective to balance the enormous impact of the rapidly developing modern science and technology.

I majored in philosophy and minored in Korean literature during my undergraduate years. Intrigued by the study of the differences between AI and humans, I pursued a master's degree, and it's still my dream to continue studying in this field. My hobbies include watching soccer games and exercising. I enjoy socializing with people, and I'm genuinely passionate about social drinking and dancing!

I received my B.A in English Literature and Linguistics from Sungkyunkwan Univ. My primary interests are in metaphysics, philosophy of language and ethics. I like blue.

I have completed graduate course in philosophy and now working on my thesis about the nature of technology. Prior to SKKU, I studied Philosophy and Theology at DCU in Dublin. Although I’m genuinely interested in all areas of philosophy, Phenomenology, Ontology and Existentialism are areas that I’m most interested. Apart from studying philosophy, I also run a philosophy discussion group called “South Seoul Socrates Café” since 2019 and this group is about engouraging people to get engaged in philosophical discussions in a mutually respectful as well as pressure-free manner to share ideas.

Hyungmin Kim received his B.A. in Philosophy from University of Washington – Seattle campus in 2020. He is mainly interested in Metaphysics, Philosophy of Mind, Philosophy of Science, Neuroethics, and Ethical AI.

I am In-tae Kim. I got BA degree in Philosophy from Sogang University, and I am studying for a master's degree in Philosophy at Sungkyunkwan University. I am interested in various fields of philosophy, and more specifically interested in positions such as inferentialism in epistemology, functional nominalism in metaphysics, and Davidson's anomalous monism in psychological philosophy. My hobbies are watching sports, playing online games, playing mystery games, and taking a walk.

I majored in Psychology and minored in Cognitive science at Yonsei University. After graduation, I prepared for a civil service exam and worked at a company before deciding to pursue a master’s degree in Philosophy, a long-standing interest of mine. I am particularly interested in the ontological interpretation of quantum mechanics, phenomenology, existentialism, and semiotics. In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, and engaging in discussions with people who share similar interests.

I majored in Philosophy and Media and Communication at Sungkyunkwan University, and obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with Summa Cum Laude. I'm interested in various areas of philosophy, and I would like to try to see various philosophical discussions and perspectives from an even point of view. My current research interests are in value ethics and conceptual analytic philosophy of art, but I'm also very interested in topics in epistemology and metaphysics that relate to these. I like cultural hobbies such as reading and watching movies, and I always want to travel whenever I get a chance.

I joined the department in the Fall of 2021. Before that, I received a B.A. in history and philosophy from the Gyeongsang National University. I am widely interested in philosophical issues related to the mind. For example, I am interested in topics such as mental causation, consciousness, free will, the application of neuroscience to philosophical problems, and whether AI can be conscious. In my free time I enjoy reading, watching movies, and visiting museums.

I received my BA in Chung-Ang University without a thesis as I won the third prize in a school contest. Now I am interested in the political philosophy of Niccolò Machiavelli, skepticism through ignorance, military science (security studies), Lewisian possibilism, and so far. I like to write something (whether it is a novel or not), watch an e-sports or a baseball game on site, arrange songs, and sing any rock/metal.

I graduated from Sungkyunkwan University with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and public interest and law. My main interests are philosophy of art (mainly, philosophy of music) and existentialism (existential philosophy), and I am especially interested in Nietzsche's philosophy. I have studied music for a long time, and I am composing New Age music and Gugak crossover music, and working on albums and performances.

I received a B.A. in Philosophy and Korean Literature in Classical Chinese. I’m most interested in ontology and meta-ontology, especially ontological nominalism and ontological deflationism, as well as in inferentialism on meaning. I’m also interested in Skepticism and Buddhism. Outside philosophy, I enjoy reading and memorizing 18th-century Korean literature and Song dynasty literature. Also love to listen to 80s jazz music, heavy metal, and Korean traditional music. I play Guitar/Piri(a Korean traditional instrument) if there is time left.

I graduated from Tsinghua University with a bachelor's degree in architecture. I am interested in ontology, hermeneutics, and semiotics, and I am solving problems related to the practical foundation of architecture and artwork. My hobby is practicing martial arts such as boxing, taekwondo, jiu jitsu, and I also like listening to music and taking walks with my friends.
