At 11:30 a.m. on May 13, 2024, the "Lim Kwan-heon Scholarship and Academic Fund Award Ceremony" was held at the test site on the third floor of Sungkyunkwan University's Toegye Humanities Hall.

The event was attended by alumni Lim Kwan-heon (56, Graduate School of Confucianism 14, PhD in Oriental Philosophy) who temporarily returned from Chicago, USA, and professors from overseas universities, including Kim Dong-min, president of the University of Foreign Studies, to congratulate two scholars of Lim Kwan-heon and six doctors who were selected as post-doctoral researchers of the Lim Kwan-heon Academic Fund,

Along with Kim Dong-min, president of the University of Confucianism, Lim Kwan-heon alumni gave scholarship certificates to students Yang Shin-yi (study abroad, Dongyang department 22), Park Soo-ji (study abroad, Dongyang department 23), Dr. Kim Yeo-jeong, Dr. Seok Seung-jing, Dr. Oh Chae-won, Dr. Yoon Deok-joon, Dr. Chung Soon-jong, and Dr. Hana, a postdoctoral researcher selection certificate for the Lim Kwan-heon Academic Fund, and also delivered Lim Kwan-heon's book, "由."

Meanwhile, the "Lim Kwan-heon Scholarship" is a scholarship paid by the "Lim Kwan-heon Scholarship Fund," which the alumni of Lim Kwan-heon have donated more than 200 million won since 2007. Since 2011, two undergraduate students at international universities have been provided with half of the tuition as scholarships, and a total of 44 international university students have been paid 79 million won so far.

The 「Lim Kwan-heon Academic Fund Postdoctoral Research Institute System」 was established last year to expand the support of existing teachers-oriented academic funds to support excellent new researchers, and 17 people have been selected from 2022, the first year of its establishment. Researchers selected as postdoctoral researchers share their research results with members of international universities through academic presentations and booklets.

After a luncheon with the alumni of Lim Kwan-heon who finished the event at the Toegye Humanities Hall, President Yoo Ji-beom was paid a $50,000 donation last year at the 600th anniversary hall, followed by another $50,000 donation to the Lim Kwan-heon University Academic Research Fund this year.

Currently, the development fund donated by alumni Lim Kwan-heon to the university of study is about 740 million won accumulated as of 2023, and if you add 50,000 dollars (about 70 million won), you will have donated a total of 800 million won in development funds.
