Greetings, I am the Chair of the Department of Physics at the College of Natural Sciences. Physics is the study of fundamental principles that govern all natural phenomena, enabling us to explain and predict nature rationally. It serves as the foundation for all natural sciences and engineering, playing a crucial role in advancing future science and technology through education and research.

Our department is committed to nurturing the next generation of physics leaders by continuously enhancing the quality of education and research with the support of distinguished faculty and state-of-the-art research facilities. To achieve this, we have established a mid-to-long-term development plan, focusing on curriculum innovation, student guidance, financial stability, and expanded community engagement, fostering overall academic and educational growth.
