KT Sports 

On April 9, 2019, College of Sport Science in Sungkyunkwan University (Dean, Chang Kyung-ro) and KT Sports (Head of a department, Song Hae-young) signed an academic-industrial cooperation working agreement (MOU) in Suwon KT Wiz Park to jointly develop the sports convergence industry by establishing an innovative network through strategic work partnership between the two organizations.

 

The main contents of the agreement included developing and carrying out academic-industrial projects for development of Sports convergence, supporting employment forums and job forums for sports majors, and cooperating on supporting Industry University Institute Collaboration projects.

 

 

Korea Professional Golfer's Association (KPGA)

SKKU College of Sports Science made an memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Korea Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA) for industrial collaboration and development of the golfing industry. The Arrangement mainly contains academic research cooperation to conduct wide and deeper research about the golfing industry. Also, KPGA arranged an internship program for SKKU undergraduate and gradutate students to develop specialists of the professional golfer industry.

 

From the beginning of the arrangement, each college and KPGA is expected to mutually exchange their research results and hold golf-industry symposiums on future plans for the development of the golfing industry periodically.

Pyeongtaek Citizen Football Team (G-smart)

The Sungkyunkwan University School of Sport Science (Kyung-ro CHANG, dean of College of Sport Science) and the Pyeongtaek Citizen Football Team (Ho-joon LEE, owner of the club) signed an industry-academic cooperation MOU to promote accompanied development through mutual exchange between the university and the football team at the Pyeongtaek G-smart headquarter on July 28, 2017.

 

Academic and marketing cooperation using university human resources, internship and employment cooperation of university human resources, and support for sport events in university are the main contents of the agreement. The common issues included mutual cooperation and consultation on matters deemed necessary by the two institutions.
