Introduction
The School of Global Leader is cultivating intellectuals that possess a creative and comprehensive mind, appropriate for the new ‘globalized intellectual society’, and a public-spirited mind, which can lead the community. For this, our school provides and runs on two learning tracks. The Legal Track is to prepare for law school and educate legal professionals, while, the Rechtspolitik (Policy Making) Track focuses on entering civil service. While we run separate study tracks for career selection, student guidance, course instruction and specialized programs, there are no core study divisions amongst the tracks to guarantee a flexible learning opportunity.
Educational Goal
In modern society, human social behavior is heavily focused on relationships, relativity, diversity, and versatility, while mental activity is centered on information. The cultural world is also focused on multicultural and interchangeable culture and requires various abilities. Thus our present day intellectual society can be said to focus on the ability to foster knowledge development and applicability.
Based on this, our study is focused on enhancing critical-creative thinking and social communication skills, developing broad and in depth comprehensive thinking abilities and insights, to investigate essential problems and direct the way for solutions.
Vision
Global Leader students complete various fusion subjects within administration, law, Rechtspolitik, economics, and political science, and will feel pride and honor in pioneering a new direction for university education. Specifically, through studies in preparation to advance into civil service, law, international organizations and various NGO’s, Global Leader students will be able to pursue careers in these fields after graduation.

2. Campus Asia Program
Students of the Department of Global Leader can participate in the Campus Asia Program.
Project Title
Training Human Resources for the Development of an Epistemic Community in Law and Political Science to Promote the Formation of “jus commune” in East Asia
Project Objective
The objective of the project is to develop suitable human resources in Japan, Korea and China in order to enable the formation and operation of the East Asian “jus commune”, which can be shared among the three countries as the basic social infrastructure necessary for form closer economic, diplomatic and political cooperation in the region.
Project Summary
Globalization in the field of law has, at the same time, given rise to regionalization. There have been efforts in China, Japan, and Korea to search for the formation of a “jus commune” in East Asia. This project is aimed at discovering the Western “global standards of law”, and on that basis, promoting human resources for the development of an epistemic community in law and political science, where participants can exchange discussions on the formation of “jus commune” in East Asia.
We seek to collaborate among universities in China, Japan and Korea to promote three main activities: (1) exchange of legal information in the East Asian region; (2) joint formation of theories on Asian law and legal assistance; and (3) setting common standards for legal education and law school programs. The universities will jointly continue mutual exchange programs based on reciprocal conference of academic credits to undergraduate students. Moreover, the universities will newly develop mutual exchange programs for graduate students, based on the academic network of the legal information and legal research centers among partner universities.

Why Choose Us?
The School of the Global Leader has had 55 graduates since 2009. More than half of them entered the law school (26). Among them, one graduate, Ji Young KIM, entered SungKyunKwan Law School at the top of their class in 2016. Besides this, student In Hee KIM passed the Public Administration Examinations. These examples of great educational accomplishment, despite our short history, show that students who study in the school have a promising future.
