Public Administration effectively manages the complicated and diverse operations of the country, generally studies balanced development between country-society sections, establishes administration operation systems that can cope with various kinds of public projects, and develops suitable management methods and technologies and reasonable decision-making, contributing to national and social development.
The Major of Public Administration was established in 1961, with the aim to foster leaders in various areas, and to become administrators who will contribute to national development with a historical sense of duty inheriting the traditions of Sungkyunkwan.
This prestigious college has produced the highest number of students who have passed the civil service examination in the country (in terms of total number), and has operated 'Waryongheon', expanding and reorganizing 'civil service administration class', which has been operating since 1975.
