About us
1. Improvement of Industry Project Collaboration Management System
The existing industry project collaboration has relied on the individual capabilities of professors for partnerships with companies and internship support, which has proven unsustainable.
To address this, it is necessary to establish a systematic management framework at the university level that accommodates corporate needs and creates an environment conducive to industry project collaboration that contributes to corporate growth.
A system must be built to flexibly organize various projects in alignment with the timing required by companies.
2. Need for Convergent Education System
To promote collaboration between students of the Software Convergence College and those majoring in software and non-software disciplines, who are beneficiaries of the SW-Centered University project—a key research initiative of the Software Convergence Research Institute—efforts will focus on strengthening interdepartmental cooperation and coordination for industry project collaboration projects.
This will involve utilizing programs such as Sungkyunkwan University’s special lectures, global IT video lectures, and the SPARK program to establish a convergent education system, enabling a more diversified set of industry project collaboration programs.
3. Strengthening Global Industry Project Collaboration
Create tangible research outcomes through collaboration with companies and provide students with practical experience to enhance their skills.
To achieve this, we will operate an advisory committee and promote joint research and projects with companies.
