[College of Computing and Informatics] Internship Graduation Requirements (Department of Computer Science and Engineering Student ID 17 or after)
- Eligibility: Department of Computer Science and Engineering student number 17th grade or higher
- Effective date: From the end of the first semester of 2020
1. Execution period and institution
The internship period and institution are as follows.
① A private company, research institute, or public institution established as a corporation
In the case of a full-time program, four weeks or more (20 days or more), and in the case of a part-time program, 160 hours or more.
(In the case of voluntary work and telecommuting at the performing institution, the relevant period and time must be met. Confirmation that the performing organization must proceed with the work type voluntarily and telecommuting (free form)
② Research institute (center) or laboratory established in the university: It must be carried out for at least six months.
1) Details and period of work
Conduct research related to laboratory internships for at least six months.
(Contents and methods of research are conducted in consultation with the advisor.
- Minimum working hours: 4 months during the semester (more than 80 hours per month)
Two months during vacation (more than 160 hours per month)
2) Workplace: In principle, it is basic to go to the laboratory, but you can work from home with your supervisor's permission.
3) The research progress must be reported to the supervisor regularly during the laboratory internship period.
③ Other institutions recognized as suitable for internship education: The committee determines whether applicable or not.
(*Intensive winter/summer industry-university programs are not accepted as internship graduation requirements)
2. Materials to be submitted
1) One internship application form
2) Enterprises and training institutes
- Attendance book (written by training institute)
- Performance evaluation table (Practitioner in charge of training institution evaluates students)
- Internship Weekly Report
- Comprehensive Internship Report
- Confirmation of internship performance
The scope of work to be performed is one of the internship work fields in the internship manual on the SW College website.
Select and write a related work field.
3) On-campus laboratory
- Attendance book (preparation school lab writing/working hours every month)
- Performance Evaluation Table (Academic advisors evaluate students in the intramural laboratory)
- Monthly report of internship (on-campus laboratory)
- Comprehensive report of internship (on-campus laboratory)
- Confirmation of internship (on-campus laboratory) performance
3. Submission method: Upload con GLS
1) Credit holders
In the case of credit holders, the part that overlaps with the College of Computing and Informatics forms among the contents written on the Tollgate site should be downloaded or captured in the created file and submitted.
(However, for the parts that do not overlap with the contents of the College of Computing and Informatics form, additionally fill out the form in the attached file)
2) Students who have not earned credits
Fill out the College of Computing and Informatics template.
4. Evaluation
The evaluation criteria are as follows, and all criteria must be met.
1) An evaluation of at least 60 points must be obtained in the performing institution and laboratory. If you receive an evaluation of fewer than 60 points, it will be considered as not performing the internship.
2) Execution contents must be suitable for IT and SW education.
The committee reviews compliance.
5. Certification Period
Every year, students who are expected to graduate from the winter must submit before early December.
Applicants expected to graduate in the summer must submit all internship documents to GLS by early June.
