안녕하세요. 성균관대학교 생명공학대학 융합생명공학과 윤기정 교수님 '신경발생·줄기세포 연구실' 입니다. 우리 연구실에서는 뇌의 발생과정에 중요한 신경줄기세포의 증식, 분화 조절과 관련된 연구를 수행하고 있습니다. 다양한 줄기세포들은 생체내 기원이 달라도 그 조절기전이 유사해 iPS(유도만능줄기세포)와 중간엽줄기세포 등의 연구도 수행하고 있습니다. 줄기세포와 암세포는 증식이라는 공통점을 가지고 있고 조절기전도 유사해 줄기세포 연구에서 획득한 지식을 암발생 기전과 항암 연구에도 활용하고 있습니다. 또한 바이러스가 어떻게 뇌질환을 일으킬 수 있는지에 대한 연구 결과를 지속적으로 좋은 저널에 발표하고 있습니다. 졸업생들은 국내외 최고수준의 생명·의학 연구 기반 회사나 연구소로 진출하고 있습니다. 저희 연구실의 대표 전화는 031-299-4854이며 이메일 주소는 keejung@skku.edu입니다. 연구실에 관심있는 분들께서는 언제든 연락주시기 바랍니다. 감사합니다.
The Yoon Lab works on mechanisms controlling brain development and stem cell proliferation. The focus has been on the roles of morphogenic and developmental signaling pathways on the stem cell behavior, cell fate and migration, during embryonic development. Because cancer cells share similar properties with normal stem cells, including the ability to self-renew and differentiation, we also work on how misregulation of developmental factors can induce cancer formation.
In addition, a recent new focus has been to understand the roles of diverse factors that regulate proliferation and differentiation of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPS) and mesenchymal stem cells (MSC), and identifying the molecular mechanism of virus-induced brain disorders.
