SKKU Graduate School of Chinese Studies

Welcome to the SUNGKYUNKWAN GSC

The First China Business Leader Program in Korea.

Since we have launched China business leader program in 2005, we have been committed to develop China management professionals. More than 400 students experienced China business schools and achieved dual-degree from Peking or Fudan University. Graduates are now actively engaging in various business fields as China experts. Now, we are striving to make further step forward to train practical “Business Leaders” who will lead the upcoming Korea-China Business.

The curriculum of the Chinese Graduate School is based on three fields: Chinese finance, marketing, and strategy & entrepreneurship, and offers practical courses such as "Chinese market marketing strategy", "Chinese capital market", and "Chinese entrepreneurship." In particular, through courses related to "Chinese Entrepreneurship", we are committed to helping students develop their dreams of entrepreneurship in China.

Since the establishment of diplomatic ties between Korea and China in 1992, economic and trade relations between the two countries have continued to develop. Even during Covid-19, Korea-China trade has grown briskly. By 2022, China is South Korea's largest trading partner, and South Korea has become China's second largest trading partner after the United States. Therefore, even in the face of international complexity and instability, the Chinese market is indispensable for Korean companies.

The Chinese Graduate School is committed to helping students gain a deeper understanding of the Chinese market. In addition to classes, we are running various projects such as visiting China. From 2016 to 2019, the "One Belt, One Road" project of the Chinese Graduate School started at Xi'an, the starting point of the Silk Road, and continued to Xinjiang. Through this project, students were able to experience a vast Chinese market outside of big cities such as Beijing and Shanghai. The metropolitan-centered "Chinese Dream" project supports students to discover their own "Chinese Dream" while experiencing the vibrant economy of modern China.

SKK GSC has a long-term vision to build a China-Biz Korean Platform. A Chinese business leader means a leader who leads the world business, and we will nurture global business leaders who will be active on the world stage beyond Korea and Asia.

Welcome to the Chinese Graduate School, and we encourage you to grow into a true global leader by interacting with business experts from around the world.

Thank you.
