Recruiting Participants for a Database Building Project for AI Learning

About the project

• We are collecting Non-native Korean speech data as a part of the project in

2022 for database construction to train AI.

• Participants will be asked to read several questions and answer in Korean.

• This project will be helpful for you to practice for TOPIK Speaking.

Who can join

• a KFL student at all levels who is available to record his/her Korean speech for 30-60 min. between September and early October in 2022

• Those who are not fluent in Korean are also welcome. If some questions are too difficult to answer, you can record “모릅니다(I don’t know)” as your answer.

About recording

• Location : Studios/Lecture rooms at Sungkyunkwan Univ.(Seoul) *Offline only

• Recording time : 30~60 min.

** PLEASE remember that it will take about 3 hours for each participant to finish the whole process including setting up, getting instructions and checking data.

• Time slot : You can record between

1) 9:00-12:00, 2) 12:00-15:00, 3) 15:00-18:00, 4) 18:00-21:00

• Each student is allowed to participate in recording only once.

Participants will receive 60,000 won per hour of recording.

*not including the time for setting or pause before/after answers
