Class Introduction

This is a hands-on workshop where participants create a traditional-style painting of Seoul’s character ‘Haechi’ on hanji paper using traditional Korean painting techniques and materials, and write their names in Korean calligraphy.

Tuesday, November 11 15:15~17:15: Line work & coloring

Tuesday, November 18 15:15~17:15: Layering & completion of line work

Group B

Tuesday, December 2 15:15~17:15: Line work & coloring

Tuesday, December 9 15:15~17:15: Layering & completion of line work

Groups A & B (Joint)

Friday, December 12 15:15~: Field trip to the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Seoul – Kim Chang-ryul Exhibition

* Each team will have 2 sessions, and the class content is the same for both teams.
Each student may participate in only one team.
