IDB-SKKU agreed to manage Public Management Master's Degree (MPM) of Latin America
In March 14th, Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and Sungkyunkwan University made agreement to provide a master's program (1 year and 6 months) targeting executive officials of 22 Latin American countries. The agreement is aimed to strengthen Latin America’s human resources in the public sector as transferring Korea's development experiences to them and further expand cooperation between South Korea and Latin America.
From September 2016, according to the agreement of entrust, Graduate School of Governance of Sungkyunkwan University will implement KLSP (Korean Universities for the Korea-LAC Scholarship Program) which Inter-American Development Bank generally manages.
Jaewan Bahk, a dean of Graduate School of Governance addressed "This is a signification that global education program in Korea is recognized for excellence in international organizations. We will proudly be devoted to execute as a higher education institute in public administration.
KLSP is entrusted operation of Public Management Master's Degree (MPM) for human resource development in design, implementation and evaluation of public policy. With purpose of strengthening the capacity of the public administration in Latin America countries, public policy education programs have been globally launched and managed, under cooperation with outstanding universities with world recognition.
