Discover the essence of Jeju through a special 2-night, 3-day cultural exploration — limited to 60 ISS students only.
From natural wonders to local market flavors and eco-conscious activities, this is your chance to experience Korea beyond the classroom.

Location Jeju Island, South Korea
Eligibility ISS 2026 enrolled students only (Enrollment will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis)
Fee 600,000 KRW (tentative; final amount will be announced later and will cover transportation, lodging, meals, and activity fees)

 

What to Expect

  • Explore Jeju’s natural wonders, markets, and coastal views
  • Hands-on cultural experiences in Dongmun Market & tea workshops
  • Day 2 highlight: Join a unique plogging (eco walk) + Kingo Walkathon with SKKU students
  • Visit local art spaces, temples, and beaches
  • A 3-day memory that blends nature, wellness, and global connection

Day 1 – July 17 (Fri)
  • Arrival in Jeju
  • Bijarim Forest
  • Kimnyoung Maze Park
  • Dongmun Market cultural walk
  • Dinner & rest

 

Day 2 – July 18 (Sat)
  • Plogging activity (coastal cleanup walk)
  • Hamdeok Beach exploration
  • Kingo Walkathon (with Korean students)
  • Dinner & rest

 

Day 3 – July 19 (Sun)
  • O’Sulloc Tea Museum
  • Arte Museum
  • Return flight to Seoul

 

 

How to Apply

  • Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled in ISS 2026
  • Application Period: Applications will remain open until capacity is filled.
  • Selection: Participation will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis for approximately 60 students.

 

 

 

Notes

  • This is an optional non-credit program organized as part of ISS 2026
  • Program fee covers meals, lodging, domestic flight, local transportation, and all activities
  • The detailed itinerary is subject to change due to weather or local circumstances
  • Program fee of 600,000 KRW(tentative) must be paid via Flywire upon selection confirmation.

IMPORTANT: A separate cultural activity is scheduled on July 17 (Fri) for ISS students who do not participate in the Jeju program. Students joining the Jeju trip will not be able to join the alternative activity.
