안녕하세요.
성균관대학교 대학원 무역학과는 한국의 경제개발과 무역진흥이 한창이던 1974년에 신설되어 2024년에 창립 50주년을 맞게 됩니다. 당시 대학 학과와 대학원 학과가 동시에 설치되었으나, 1990년대 초반 학교 방침에 따라 대학 학과가 폐지되어 그후 대학원 학과만 남게 되었습니다. 대신 오늘날 교내 대학과정에는 글로벌 경제/경영/리더, 국제통상 연계전공 등 유사, 관련 프로그램이 많습니다.
본 대학원 무역학과 학생은 무역이론과 정책, 무역업 창업과 경영 (금융, 물류, 컨설팅, IT분야 등), 무역거래와 상무 등 다양한 분야를 선택적으로 학습할 수 있습니다. 그후 창업, 취업, 교육, 연구 등 여러 분야에서 졸업생들이 성공적 활동을 하도록 프로그램이 구성되어 있습니다. 서울시내 주요 대학원 과정중 무역학과는 본교가 유일한 것으로 알고 있습니다.
또한 오랜 역사에 따라 무역학과에는 많은 내외국인 졸업생 동문이 있습니다. 이런 장점을 살려 재학생과 졸업생간 네트워킹이 가능하도록 추진할 예정입니다. 글로벌, 디지털 시대에 산업발전, 경제성장, 고용창출의 첨병인 무역인을 양성하는 성대 대학원 무역학과에 많은 관심과 참여를 기대합니다.

The Department of International Trade (DIT) of Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) graduate school was established in 1974 when Korea was getting on the stage of economic development and trade promotion, reaching its 50th anniversary in 2024.
The undergraduate department of international trade, born in 1967, was closed in accordance with the university policy, and only the graduate department remained thereafter.
Nowadays, SKKU runs several global programs in the undergraduate level such as global economy, global management, global leader, and global trade (collaboration program).
Students of the DIT can learn various subjects such as trade theory and policy, trade management (start-up incubation, finance, logistics, consulting, Information Technology, trade contract and commerce.
Designed to help graduates succeed in trade business, education, and/or research, the SKKU DIT ranks the first among its peer graduate programs in whole Korea.
Thanks to its long history, the DIT has numerous alumni of domestic or foreign graduates, enabling students and graduates to be networked. The DIT is missioned to nurturing international traders who are at the forefront of industrial development, economic growth, and job creation in the global and digital era.
