| 이 수업은 노동경제학의 심화 과정으로서 실증 분석에 초점을 맞춘다. 이 수업에서 학생들은 응용 미시 분야에서 폭넓게 이용되고 있는 실증 분석 방법론을 보다 폭넓고 깊이 있게 공부하고, 노동경제학 분야에서 이러한 방법론이 정책 평가나 사회 현상을 분석하는 과정에 어떻게 활용되고 있는지를 살펴본다. 노동경제학 분야에서 고전으로 자리매김 하였거나 최근 주목 받는 연구들을 중심으로 관련 논문을 함께 읽고, 논문에 사용된 데이터를 이용하여 논문에서 수행된 분석을 재현한다. 이를 통해 실증 연구 방법론을 익힘과 동시에 선행 연구에 대한 비판적인 이해를 도모한다. 더 나아가 현실에 존재하는 다양한 형태의 원시 자료(횡단면 자료, 패널 자료, 그리고 빅데이터 등)를 분석해봄으로써 독립적인 실증 연구를 수행할 수 있는 역량을 기른다. 실증 분석을 위해서는 Stata와 같은 통계 분석 프로그램과 R이나 Python 등의 프로그래밍 언어를 사용한다. 한 학기 동안 학생들은 실증 분석을 포함하는 자신만의 연구를 발전시키고, 한 학기 동안 진행한 사항을 연구계획서 형태로 정리하여 기말 프로젝트로 제출한다. | |||||||||

| This course is higher level applied course and intended for senior students. This course is designed to maximize the collaboration between the school of economics and industry. The course will focus on solving real-world problems through projects. The course will be run by collaboration of professor and sponsoring company’ mentors. Following is special aspects of the course. 1. The class (10 students) will make 3 teams. Team will perform each of 3 projects given by sponsoring company. 2. Professor will give lectures on financial economics subjects related to projects during the class. Students will discuss their progress on projects. 3. There will be mid-term presentation during students’ second meeting with mentors. 4. There will be final presentation in the last week of semester. 5.
