Final selection of the Medical Research Center (MRC)

The "Epigenome Dynamics Control Research Center" (Director: Han Jung-hwan) of our university was selected as the MRC project of the National Research Foundation of Korea.
The MRC project is operated with the aim of fostering core research fields that are world-class competitive and enhancing national basic research capabilities through the discovery and development of outstanding research groups with creativity and excellence.
In particular, the MRC project was re-entered by the "Epigenome Dynamics Control Research Center" (Director: Han Jung-hwan), which was conducted from 2010 to 2019 at our university, and was recognized for its excellent promotion and research achievements of the existing center.
Epigenome Dynamics Control Research Center analyzes epigenome dynamics in a variety of incurable diseases (e.g., metabolic diseases, dementia, heart disease, etc.) and presents new treatment targets that are not previously.
