-In a new
educational environment where education, research and business is organically
connected,
-students get to
experience and take part in various programs related to subject/non-subject,
-make valuable
student achievements,
-and develop as a
creative global talent suitable for the future society
The Student
Success Center will support and manage the achievement of students.
Specifically:

- 2) Establish a role model of Student
Success
- 3) Restructure student support program
- 4) Manage students using the Big Data
Firstly, Student Success Center acts as the gateway which
provides consultation service connecting the students to the relevant
department of the university. It will become a hub that creates efficiency
between related organizations.
Secondly, it will host seminars and lecture sessions about
university lifestyle and future career options to establish a role model of
Student Success.
Thirdly, it will reorganize the student support system on the
basis of the core capabilities (SKKU Pentagon)* and provide student counseling
service.
*SKKU Pentagon: self-motivation capabilities, convergence
capabilities, entrepreneur capabilities, citizenship capabilities and global
capabilities.
Lastly, Student Success Center will construct a database by
collecting student counseling records and manage the records for efficiency in
counseling. It will also run an academic achievement management system using
the data and establish improvement plans for the students.
Director of the
Student Success Center emphasized that, “Students must also voluntarily
participate and work along with the school for “Student Success”. I hope that
the Student Success Center become a foundation for innovations in Korean
universities.”
