The SKKU-Fellowship system is the highest honor awarded by our university since 2004, and it provides exceptional research support and honor by selecting the best professors with high level of research ability or high accessibility.
In particular, the 2022 SKKU-Fellowship selected teachers who have achieved results in various fields such as excellent international conferences, top journals and papers, industry-academic cooperation models (education, technology transfer, etc.), and start-ups, as well as excellent academic books.
The award ceremony was held at the "Best Faculty Award ceremony" held on February 6 (Monday), and Professor Chung Hyun-Seok, the previous year's winner, announced the list of 13 SKKU Fellowship professors in 2022 to pass on the value of Fellowship across generations.
Ahn Dae-hoe, a professor at the College of Liberal Arts, said, "I feel a sense of responsibility because I was selected as the representative even though there are many outstanding professors."
He also said, "I have been working hard to publish books related to my major for 15 years, and I will continue to make efforts to continue the achievements."
Professor Jangam of the University of Technology, who was selected for the Best Journal and Paper category, said, "It is an honor to win the Fellowship award. It is more meaningful because it is an achievement with my lab and graduate students and researchers who participated in the meeting," he said. He also expressed his ambition, saying, "We will continue to develop into a world-class professional laboratory in the field."
Professor Park Woong-yang of the medical school, who was selected for the start-up category, said, "We ask for the school's interest and support so that our university can become a prestigious university in industry-academic cooperation, especially start-up."
In the future, our university will continue to develop into a first-class university that contributes to human society by discovering various achievements and values of teachers away from uniform evaluation.
