Kung Fun embarked on his professional journey at Microsoft Korea, where he provided invaluable support to clients in the healthcare and education sectors. His role involved assisting these entities in leveraging technology to enhance their operations and services.

Transitioning to Amazon Web Services Korea during its formative stages, Kung Fun played a pivotal role in advocating for and facilitating the adoption of cloud computing solutions. Working tirelessly, he helped businesses of all sizes, from burgeoning startups to established enterprises, harness the power of cloud technology, with a particular focus on promoting the utilization of the AWS Seoul Region.

Subsequently, Kung Fun was pointed as the Country Manager at Pivotal Korea, where he spearheaded initiatives aimed at introducing and implementing Agile and Microservice methodologies. His efforts were instrumental in helping businesses adapt to modern software development practices, fostering agility and innovation.

In 2020, Kung Fun returned to Amazon Web Services Korea in the capacity of Head of Financial Services Industry. In this role, he has been instrumental in guiding financial institutions through their cloud adoption journey, enabling them to embrace digital transformation and drive innovation in the realm of IT.

Kung Fun holds dual degrees in Economics and Business Administration from Sungkyunkwan University and is a proud graduate of SKK GSB Graduate School, the class of 2008. His academic journey also included enriching experiences at prestigious institutions such as Harvard Business School and MIT Sloan as the exchange student, where he pursued an MBA, further enhancing his expertise and leadership skills.
