Professional MBA - Class of 2021 가을학기 신입생 오리엔테이션을 8월 24일, 25일 이틀에 걸쳐서 개최했습니다. 첫날은 성균관대 국제관에서 원장님의 축사를 시작으로 교수진 소개, 주임교수님의 커리큘럼과 학사일정에 대한 안내가 있었습니다. 1시간 30분 동안 진행된 Special lecture 시간에는, 삼성전자에서 34년간 근무하고 사장을 역임하셨던 이돈주 교수님께서 "New Business Life in SKK GSB"를 주제로 직장인으로서 MBA스쿨에서 꼭 배워야할 핵심적인 내용에 대해 강의를 해주셨습니다.
오후에는 교수진과 신입생들이 함께 남한강이 아름답게 보이는 양평의 호텔로 이동했습니다. 학생들은 흥겨운 조정 레크레이션을 통해 금새 단합하는 모습을 보여주었습니다. 이튿날 오전에는 팀별 소개시간이 있었습니다. Apple, Samsung, Hyundai, Johnson&Johnson 등 글로벌 기업체에서 모인 학생들이 각오를 다지며 앞으로 2년동안 펼쳐질 MBA 생활에 대한 강한 기대감을 드러냈습니다.
The Professional MBA Class of 2021 Fall Orientation was held on August 24 and 25. The event started with the Dean's Congratulatory Message, and then the faculty chair, Prof. Suil Pae, guided students through the curriculum and the Academic Calendar. Following that, the former President of Samsung's Mobile Marketing Team, Prof. Don Joo Lee, gave a special lecture on "New Business Life in SKK GSB".
In the afternoon, students and faculty moved to a hotel located in Yangpyeong, which is famous for its beautiful views of the Namhan River. There, the students showed unity through an exciting indoor rowing activity.
The next morning, each team gave their own introductions, and students from global companies such as Apple, Samsung, Hyundai, and Johnson & Johnson shared their expectations for the next two years of MBA life.
