- Kim Yong-joon, professor of Business Administration, was inaugurated as president of Korean Academic Society of Business Administration
- Kim Yong-joon, a professor at Sungkyunkwan University who was inaugurated as the new chairman at Korean Academic Society of Business Administration General Meeting held at SC Convention Center in Seoul on Tuesday, said that he will lead “BTs” as a focus project for this year's academic conference. (BTs: Business Transformations) “The global business environment is changing not only in digital transformation but also in various ways, and the academic society is still not following us." Kim said. "We will try to make the Academic Society lead industrial and academic convergence research this year." He explains that while the ecosystem of companies is rapidly changing at the industrial site, the business community is failing to create value. "Though the academic community has been following companies passively, we will actively help companies create value," he said. "Communication is the most important thing for the Korean Academic Society of Business Administration to transform into a convergence society, but communication is often lacking among business scholars as well as outside," Kim said. "We planned to release a Wikipedia-style business dictionary."
