Chairman Lim Kyung-yoon(Business 79, Hanchem Co., Ltd.) visited the office of the president of his alma mater on June 3rd(Friday) and delivered 300 million won first out of the 500 million won contract amount of the Second Business Building Fund.
The fund delivery ceremony was attended by President Shin Dong-ryeol, Executive Director Joo Young-soo, Vice President Cho Jun-mo, Corporate Director Lee Dong-hwan, and External Affairs Minister Ji Seong-woo. And at the College of Business Alumni Association, Kim Dong-pil, Chairman of Nexfarm Korea and Chairman of the College of Business Alumni Association, Lee Hyun-koo, Chairman of La Casa Works, Song In-man, Professor Emeritus of Business School, Shin Sang-hoon, President and CEO of Shinhan Financial Group, Kim Won-gap, CEO of Hyundai Corporation and Chairman of the Joongbong Scholarship Association, Lee Jeung-sang, the secretary general of the College of Business Alumni Association attended and made the event even more special.
Shin Dong-ryeol said in a welcoming speech, "I deeply appreciate Chairman Lim Kyung-yoon's great intention to donate a large amount of money for his alma mater and business shcool, and I will do my best to develop the school so that it meets the chairman's alma mater love."
Chairman Lim Kyung-yoon said in a greeting, "I thought about contributing to the school and helping the juniors while looking at the seniors of the business school," adding, "I will continue to contribute more by connecting the donation alumni and mentor scholarships."
Kim Dong-pil, chairman of the alumni association, said in a congratulatory speech, "I would like to thank the president, the permanent director, and other alma mater officials for their efforts to raise the status of high-quality education and universities despite the difficulties of COVID-10." "I would like to thank Chairman Lim Kyung-yoon, who willingly donated a large amount of 500 million won to the construction fundraising, and thank the business school for providing a good place to participate in the development of the school and form and atmosphere" he said.
Chairman Lim Kyung-yoon plans to donate another 200 million won in October.
