On October 5(Wednesday), the Business School(Dean Ahn Hee-joon) held the Job Hak Da Sik(Career concert) to strengthen the network of seniors and juniors and help new students and students in their careers. A total of 105 students attended the career concert, including business administration students and other undergraduate students. The mentors who participated on the day were Lee Jin-gu(Business 12, Hyundai Glovis), Hwang Sung-wook(Business 11, Amazon Web Services), Han Min-soo(Business 14, Microsoft Korea), and Kim Jung-hoon(Business 14, Google), and they were introduced to the company and job, career talk show, and on-site Q&A.
Kim Jung-hoon(14, Google), a senior graduate who attended as a mentor, said, "It was better because it was not a career special lecture, but a career concert where I could communicate with more than 100 juniors and talk about various things. It may not be the answer, but I will cheer for my juniors to achieve their goal by going through less trial and error. I would like to thank the business school officials for planning a good event, and I will actively participate if I have a chance to help my juniors in the future.
Another mentor, Hwang Sung-wook(11, Amazon)said, "It was very meaningful to share my Career Journey with my juniors through career concerts in the rapidly changing job market. I sincerely support you to reborn as a builder in any position."
"I only had a vague idea about getting a job because I was still in my first year, but it was good to hear the vivid experiences of my seniors at the career concerts, and I was able to help them design their careers and set directions." said a 22nd-grade business students who attended.
The policy executive of the College of Business Administration who prepared this event said, "This semester, like last semester, I wanted to solve the theme of career in a fun way, so I made the same composition. The seniors prepared the lecture well, so the classmates learned a lot. I think the event ended successfully because the students asked a lot of questions during the Q&A session."
In the future, the Department of Business Administration will conduct <Job Hak Da Sik> regularly to strengthen the sense of belonging to freshman and enrolled students and encourage mentoring activities after graduation.
