The department was established in March 2000, and has 10 interdisciplinary departments for undergraduates including, the Department of International Trade. Every year 120 new students enroll, and there are about 500 enrolled students in total.

 

Objectives
  • Educate students on rapidly changing international politics and economy.
  • Training in international languages.
  • Students are trained to become experts in international trade, equipped with international perspectives and wide understanding of international economy.

 

Teaching Methodologies

To help students develop comprehensive understanding of international trade and related issues, the department offers various interdisciplinary studies: economics, business management, international relations, law, public administration, history; and the languages and literatures of English, French, German, Russian, and Chinese.

 

Student Prospects

Students who finish the program will have in-depth knowledge of the relevant fields. Successful graduates’ job opportunities include working at private firms requiring experts in international trade and international finance, government sectors for trade policies, media, international organizations and research institutes. Based on the knowledge acquired in the department, students are also encouraged to receive professional licenses in various fields
