The course provides a comparative overview of history, culture, politics and thought in Korea, China, and Japan, paying special attention to how each country transitioned from premodern to modern times. The course will seek to identify points of commonality among the three countries and explore the possibility of a new model of East Asian society that aspires toward progress.

The purpose of this study is to understand the characteristics and vernacular changes of Korean vocabulary, idiomatic expressions, meaning and function of proverbs.

Then, we compare the main contents of Korean and Chinese such as Chinese and English, and select contents that can be used in the Korean language education field and look for education plan.

This course aims to understand the concept, structure and principles of Korean textbooks. First, we will compare and analyze various existing Korean textbooks and expand knowledge and skills related to textbooks. Based on this, I will develop a textbook and an auxiliary textbook suitable for a learner, and compare and discuss the types and theories of textbooks according to purpose and function.
