(2) A bachelor's degree cannot be obtained with only the credit requirements.

  • Although the graduation credit and graduation standard GPa are met, if the graduation thesis evaluation is not passed or any of the third-party certifications are not acquired, the status will be considered as "credit requirement completion".
  • Those who have the status of "credit requirement completion" will be awarded a "certificate of courses completed" rather than a "certificate of completion".
  • If the student meets the degree requirements in the following semester, the degree will be conferred on the graduation date of that semester.
  • There is no time limit to fulfill the degree requirements after achieving the status of "credit requirement completion".

(3) Graduation Thesis

  • In the Department of Mechanical Engineering, one of the following evaluation types must be chosen, and supporting documents must be submitted.
  • For students with multiple majors, they must pass the graduation thesis in not only their primary major but also in the majors of their other majors (second major, third major). If they fail to pass the graduation thesis evaluation in any of the majors, they will not be able to graduate.
  • Evaluation Types:

(1) Graduation Thesis (written over one year),

(2) Acquisition of credits under the Excellent Undergraduate Research Credit System (Course Name: Engineering Research Project 1 or 2) - Acquisition of credits,

(3) Mechanical Engineering Laboratory Practice Course (Research practice within the department) - Acquisition of credits

※ Note: Mandatory supervision by a professor from the School of Mechanical Engineering (supervision by professors from other departments or research labs is strictly not allowed)
