Important Notes:

  • (1) The above regulations have been in effect since the spring semester of 2014 for incoming freshmen.
    • Integrated master's and doctoral programs are based on the master's admission timing. Changing to an integrated program during the master's program is based on the master's admission timing. The combined bachelor's and master's program applies to students who were assigned graduate student numbers after the spring semester of 2014.
  • (2) The graduation requirements mentioned above will be checked during the preliminary review of the graduation thesis, and the feasibility of meeting the requirements will be finally checked during the final thesis evaluation. If there are any deficiencies, the final thesis evaluation cannot be conducted.
  • (3) Excess credits earned from core courses will be recognized as advanced courses.
  • (4) If prerequisite courses are assigned, they must be completed separately (for students from other fields of study, prerequisites are assigned at the time of admission, so confirmation should be made at the administrative office of the School of Mechanical Engineering).
  • (5) Graduation credit requirements: Earn credits equal to or higher than the required minimum and maintain a grade average of B or higher (common requirement for the College of Engineering).
