○ Abstract:
Since the discovery of topological insulators, confirming topological nontriviality in a crystal system has been a basic and important task in condensed matter physics. Even though topological nontriviality arises from a combination of various ingredients depending on the type of topological materials, its experimental confirmation eventually cannot help resorting on observation of the electronic band structure of the material. In this aspect, angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) is the most relevant tool because it can directly observe the band structure of a crystal system. In this talk, I would like to give a brief overview of my ARPES studies for topological materials. The cases include a topological insulator Bi2Te3 [1], a type II Dirac semimetal PdTe2 [2], a multi-fold Dirac fermionic semimetal PdSb2 [3], and a magnetic Weyl semimetal candidate Co1/3TaS2 [4].
