Based on an understanding of the various devices currently being considered to implement intelligent semiconductor systems, analysis and optimization are performed through simulation. Learn the latest technological trends in silicon-based scaled devices that have been widely used for a long time, stacked devices, and new concept devices based on various new materials, and check their electrical characteristics through simulation exercises. In addition, we would like to confirm through the latest literature and simulations how these intelligent semiconductor device characteristics affect the circuit system level. Through this course, you can develop an understanding of the latest semiconductor device theory, especially the intelligent semiconductor device theory. By selecting practical topics that can be frequently experienced in the actual industry and carrying out projects, you will develop not only theory but also basic practical skills. There is a purpose. Prerequisite courses include physical electronics, semiconductor engineering, semiconductor device design, and electronic circuits.

This is a graduate-level course for students pursuing a doctoral degree. In this course, students identify an engineering research problem related to societal challenges and perform independent research on the selected problem during the semester under the guidance of their advisors.

This course offers a directed and independent study for Ph.D degree students on the third level. Most subjects assigned to students are related to the Ph.D thesis topic for each student, which include literature survey, directed experiments, data analysis, and writing proposal. The aim of class is to provide various conceptual backgrounds for the research, current problem and research needs, experimental design, and analysis for the results, which may not be offered by regular classes in the graduate program. Grade is given by the research advisor of students based on subjective evaluation for discussion and/or written reports.

This lesson deals with photovoltaic : the direct conversion of light into electricity are reviewed in the chapter, together with the economics of PV installation. Attention is focus on the various applications of photovoltaic which are relevant at present and so can those that likely to be of increasing importance in the near future.This lesson discuss the performance and design of photovoltaic systems involving silicon solar cells.

This class aims to enhance global competence as a researcher who study innovative growth fields through overseas dispatch of graduate students. Student’s who are dispatched overseas and carrying out joint research in world university will learn - to establish global network for future research - to strive for the creation of new industries in the field of sustainable development and innovative growth of mankind - to grow into global innovative leader with the competence of ‘Value creation’, ‘Convergence’, ‘Innovation’, and ‘Collaboration’ through innovation in creative convergence experiences that which cross the intercultural, interdisciplinary and intergeneration. In this class, students are expected to focus on projects during the overseas dispatch period to improve the quality of their research. Each researcher will present final report after they complete dispatch study and will be given their credit based on the presentation.
ERP4001 Creative Group Study 3 6 Major Bachelor/Master - No
This course cultivates and supports research partnerships between our undergraduates and faculty. It offers the chance to work on cutting edge research—whether you join established research projects or pursue your own ideas. Undergraduates participate in each phase of standard research activity: developing research plans, writing proposals, conducting research, analyzing data and presenting research results in oral and written form. Projects can last for an entire semester, and many continue for a year or more. SKKU students use their CGS(Creative Group Study) experiences to become familiar with the faculty, learn about potential majors, and investigate areas of interest. They gain practical skills and knowledge they eventually apply to careers after graduation or as graduate students.
