Sungkyun Core Competency
Purpose
ISC stands for "Intensive Study Course" program. It has been designed to enhance the academic ability of students through learning the Korean Language intensively for two semesters.
Class System
ISC program operates by a class system. A class is designated to the students depending on their major and Korean Language skills. The class system builds an atmosphere for International Students to make networks between peers and to develop academic ability and university environment adaptability. Students will take same courses with their classmates for two semesters. Courses, by semester are written below.
ISC Course - 1st Semester
International Students are required to take ISC courses to enhance their Korean language skills and adaptability to residing in new environments. In the first semester, students can study courses which are operated only for international students.

ISC Course - 2nd Semester
In the second semester, students can study the advanced course of the ISC program, in order to strengthen their ability to study majors in the sophomore year.
